CDTA reports ridership down | Transportation

The Capital District Transportation Authority is reporting that bus ridership is down recently.

CDTA says the number of bus riders is down 10 percent from last year.

The Northway Express that ferries commuters from bedroom communities to downtown Albany has seen a 13 percent drop in users.

A CDTA spokeswoman says fewer people seem to be using mass transportation because gas prices are holding steady.
