The Mainstage at Proctors will welcome “Disney’s Beauty and the Beast” beginning May 15 through May 20.

The classic love story will come to life onstage with songs like “Be Our Guest,” “Change In Me,” and “Gaston.” The show is based on the Academy Award-winning animated feature film and the show has been seen by 35 million people around the world.

ALBANY - On Thursday, May 3, Craig M. Hatkoff will be speaking at a town hall meeting about expanded film production opportunities in the Capital Region.

Hatkoff, an Albany native, -will be focusing on the the impact of film production as a sustainable economic driver on the Capital Region economy.

The panel discussion will feature area film, government,  and business leaders, including:

On Tuesday, May 1, animals from the Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus will walk from the Port of Albany to the Times Union Center for Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey presents Fully Charged.

The circus will be in Albany May 2 through May 6. An Albany Aqua Ducks tour bus will also accompany the animals on their walk.
