Applications available for free trees | Business

Capital District Community Gardens is looking for planting sites for a Fall 2011 Street Tree Planting Program to be implemented in partnership with the City of Cohoes.

Thanks to generous support from Cohoes Savings Bank Foundation the city says that 50 trees will be planted throughout the City by students from Cohoes High School under the supervision of Capital District Community Gardens. The planting will take place during the last week of October.

Trees will be planted free of charge for Cohoes residents and businesses interested in having trees planted on or adjacent to their property or in parks and other public spaces.
