Traffic Commission to hold meeting
The next meeting of the Cohoes Traffic Commission will be held on Monday, Dec. 19, at 4:15 p.m. in the Common Council Chambers of Cohoes City Hall.
The following items will be discussed:
- Consideration of No Parking Here to Corner sign on the southeast corner of the Main and White Street intersection. Request submitted by Police Chief William Heslin. (Attachment “A”)
- Consideration of the relocation of the existing No Parking Here to Corner sign at the northeast corner of the Vliet Blvd. and Edward Street intersection. Request submitted by Police Chief William Heslin. ( Attachment “B”)
- Consideration of the removal of the Handicap Parking sign at 43 Congress Street. Applicant did not submit an application to the Commission for annual re-approval. (Attachment “C”)
- Consideration of a Handicap Parking Sign at 8 North Reservoir Street. Request submitted by Mr. Ernest Gaudette. (Attachment “D”)
- Consideration of a curb cut for #17 Morris Street (by Sunset Park) for existing driveway behind #62 Egbert Street. Request submitted by Carol Collins.
- Consideration of revisions to the No Parking Anytime signs previously installed on the southern end of Lancaster Street. (Attachment “E”) Request submitted by Mayor McDonald.
- Consideration of a No Outlet sign on Delaware Avenue. Request submitted by Mayor McDonald on behalf of concerned residents of Admiral’s Walk. (Attachment “F”)
- Consideration of the removal of an antiquated Railroad Crossing sign on Delaware Avenue south of Van Schaick Avenue. Request submitted by Chairman Johnston. (Attachment “G”)
- Consideration of a No Motor Vehicles sign on the west side of the Delaware Avenue Hike and Bike Trail south of the Van Schaick Avenue intersection. Request submitted by Mayor McDonald on behalf of concerned residents Admiral’s Walk. (Attachment “H”)
- Consideration of No Parking Any Time signs on the east side of Simmons Avenue. Request submitted by Mayor McDonald. (Attachment “I”, “I a” & “I b”)
- Consideration of the removal of the One Way and Do Not Enter signs on Breslin Avenue. Request submitted by Councilman Signoracci. (Attachment “J”)
- Consideration of the site plan for the Burger King on Saratoga Street. (On file for review in Building & Planning Office in City Hall)
