Sheriff’s employees to be honored during recognition dinner | News

The Albany County Sheriff’s Office will hold its first employee recognition dinner Friday night at the Italian Community Center on Washington Avenue in Albany.

Over 300 employees will attend the dinner as well as elected officials. Select employees will be honored for acts of heroism and going above the call of duty. 

Three patients who were technically code “O” and who were brought back to life will attend the dinner and will present the deputies and EMS staff who saved their lives with plaques.

ShopRite donated funds that will help make the evening possible.
