ALBANY – A Cohoes man was arrested Thursday night and accused of robbing a Mobil on Central Avenue Tuesday.
Albany police said, 31-year-old Brandon Law of Lincoln Avenue in Cohoes turned himself into Troy Police Thursday night around 9 p.m. after seeing his photo on the news.
He is accused of entering the Mobil Mart located on 651 Central Avenue on June 5 just after 10 p.m. where he allegedly passed a note to the clerk that implied he had a gun. Then, he is accused of demanding money. The clerk cooperated and Law fled the scene.
Law was transported to the Albany Police South Station and charged with robbery. He was arraigned Friday morning in the Albany City Criminal Court.
