ALBANY - An old disco favorite could help you save a life.
It's part of the American Heart Association's attempt to teach people Hands Only CPR. The CPR mobile van is parked near the Empire State Plaza Monday.
The Bee Gee's hit "Stayin' Alive" has more than 100 beats per minute, it's near perfect rate at which you should push on a chest during CPR.
“As a paramedic we often go to people's homes where there's been a cardiac arrest and many times, we will find that citizens that know what to do. They've taken a quick CPR course like this and that doubles, if not triples the chance of survival,” said Paramedic Bob Elling.
The van will be in Albany until 3:30 p.m. afternoon. The CPR mobile van will be at the Harriman Campus in Albany, Tuesday from 10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.
