Cat-urday this weekend at Mohawk Hudson Humane Society | Pets
Title (Max 100 Characters)
MENANDS – The Mohawk Hudson Humane Society has announced that Saturday, August 18 to be Cat-urday.
All kittens 6 months and under will be $25, all cats and kittens above 6 months are free.
The Society has cats of every breed, age and personality looking for a loving home. Every cat ready for adoption has been spayed or neutered, vaccinated for distemper and rabies, tested for feline leukemia, de-wormed, and treated with flea and tick preventative. All cats also go to their new homes with 30 days of pet insurance and a bag of Science Diet pet food.
Cats and kittens continue to come into the shelter because too few people have their pets spayed or neutered. The Society offers several low-income spay/neuter programs. Pet owners who have a cat or cats that needs to be spayed or neutered should call the Society at 518-434-8128 to see if they qualify.
The Society, located at 3 Oakland Avenue in Menands, is open for adoptions seven days a week, Monday through Friday 10AM to 6PM, Saturday 10AM to 5PM and Sunday 1PM to 4PM. In addition, cats are available for adoption at the Society’s satellite locations at the PetSmart stores in Glenmont and Latham and at the Petco in Clifton Park.
