USS Slater offering half priced admission | Public Spaces

ALBANY - On May 19 and 20, to celebrate New York Heritage Weekend the USS Slater will be offering half priced admission. 

The USS Slater is a great destination for families to see the history of New York State.

The Slater was homeported at Brooklyn Navy Yard and escorteed convoys to Europe. These convoys carried armaments and supplies vital to the war effort. In many cases the supplies had been, manufactured in Upstate New York factories like General Electric.
